Tecovas Boots – Yes, they’re worth it.

I grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. Cowboy boots aren’t really a thing there, maybe more in middle/east Tennessee, but not in west Tennessee. When I moved to Texas I was amazed that pretty much every male owns multiple pairs of cowboy boots. For five years I refused to own a pair of cowboy boots and opted for a pair of Redwing Iron Rangers instead. After owning Iron Rangers I got so tired of how heavy they were and decided I would venture out and just look at cowboy boots because everyone raved about how comfortable they were.

I started by going to a local boot shop here in Texas called Cavender’s. I tried on a few pairs, but couldn’t stand the stitching, decor, and trim a lot of their boots had. Also, the prices were out of my range. All I wanted was a generic plain ole cowboy boot.

So, I did a Google search and discovered Tecovas. I loved the styles, color options, and the price tag. I bought my first pair of Cartwright Tecovas right then and there.

A few days later, they came in to mail, I put them on, and it was love at first step. These boots were soft and incredibly comfortable right out of the box. The break-in period is minimal and I hardly ever want to take them off. In fact, I love them so much I bought a pair of their ropers for a more low-key boot and these are even MORE comfortable than the Cartwright.

Needless to say, Tecovas converted me into a cowboy boot loving, wear them everyday kind of guy. If you are on the fence about buying a pair of Tecovas, don’t be, they’re worth every penny. And if you don’t like them, no worries, they have a great return policy and their customer service is as nice as their boots and they will make it right!
